Fowler and Holden Ltd have recently completed the supply of their FastFlow bridge drainage product on the Chelmer Viaduct project. The design work was done by AECOM and the construction carried out by Graham Construction.
The viaduct is a 300m long construction with only two outlet positions for the removal of water from the structure. The falls are minimal so the only solution to the drainage issues were to use a 450mm wide FastFlow unit. This unit is the largest available on the UK market, is D400 loaded and carries the Kitemark for superior quality assurance which automatically means the CE mark can be applied.
