FastFlow bridge drainage units in place on the new A14/M1 J19. The large bridge structures are a vital component of the junction improvements.

The FastFlow bridge drainage units used incorporated a tapered design to allow for increasing flow rate requirements at the bottom of the runs.

This approach provided significant cost savings for our client Skanska. The design of the bridge drainage system was done in close collaboration with Jacobs and Skanska with several particularly challenging expansion joint drainage sites that required the highest flow rates to be carried through a skewed joints.
